: i took inspiration from the water(the sea) and the title SUMMER and scrapped our visit to this amazing waterfall during summer vacation.

4. prompt #4 : Mixed Media Monthly Challenge #24 - "Butterflies and Blooms"

5. prompt #5 : Simon Says Stamp - Monday : Emboss It

here is the LO i made :

 

Again I used my May 2016 CKC kit to make this layout.
The water-coloring over the embossing paste was the fun part. loved the effect it created.

I used my May 2016 CKC kit to make this layout. 
had fun making this one :).

I used the new Heidi swapp word stencil i got at Michaels. love it. so many beautiful words to use on a scrapbook layout. 
very versatile.

May 2016 Counterfeit Kit Challenge

Hello !
Here is my take on the "May 2016 Counterfeit Kit Challenge".

This month the inspiration kit is the awesome May/June 2014 Quirky Kits by Crafty Templates. love the fun colors and dots. :)

Here is my collection.

Kit Details :

1. I painted wood hearts to make them 2 toned. fun :)

2. also stamped butterflies on acetate paper and cut them out. used a Prima - Don't Forget to Fly stamp set. love how they turned out.

i am looking forward to using this kit to make a few NSD challenge layouts. :). Happy iNSD everyone ! woo hoo !

here is the art journal page i made :

I used stamp and stencil by Dina Wakely and the Journey stamp is by Tim Holtz. I enjoyed doing the water-coloring and the journal is the Dylusions small Journal. i love this journal, the pages r so sturdy and totally perfect for any mixed media technique. :)
