Challenge : 2 in 1

Hello !
Here is a LO i made for using prompts from 2 challenges

1. prompt #1 : Simon Says Stamp - Monday : Stamp + Mist
misted Mustard Color-Shine using a polka dot stencil and then stamped a script stamp on my background.
(all 3 products by Heidi Swapp)

2. prompt #2 : Stuck?! sketches - June 1st Sketch

here is my LO

I used October Afternoon's Woodland Park collection. really love this collection. the colors r so pretty. 

the "Hello" and "amazing" are by Wilna Furstenberg. just love her cut files. 

and also used brown wire thread by Prima, i love the way it looks. i curled it the way i wanted to place it on the layout but it can be a little tricky to attach to a LO. i have used glue and staples before but in this layout i tacked it down using tiny stitches in 2 or 3 places. i found this gave a much more cleaner look and a lot less frustration than using glue. ;)

here is my LO

I really loved making this layout. FUN. I used the Patriots collection by Monte Paper Mill which i got as a free gift during a CKC convention. and the lovely gold strip paper is by Teresa Collins. love that gold. :)

And also used one of my new addictions - the Clear Stickers by Me & My BigIdeas.U get so many and they r really easy to use. 
a great value product.

2. prompt #2 : ARTastic : wood veneer and/or birds : used wood veneer

here is my LO :

I did this LO in CKC Class - True Colors with My Mind's eye. This was originally a part of a 2-page LO but i modified it to use as a 1-page LO. really fun.

I also used some hybrid elements from a digital scrapbooking kit : Little Buckaroo Kit - by Peppermint Creative to fit my theme.
